So here soon I will be going to Iceland, so I was inspired to post a sample 7 day itinerary on how to Travel there. A week is the average amount of time a person visits Iceland, so it seemed appropriate.
The Main Airport in Iceland is Keflavík International Airport, also known as Reykjavík–Keflavík Airport. I have included their website, as it provides important information ranging from weather, departure updates, other Iceland airports if you want to use one of those, and much more. Feel free to check it out!
The main currency is the Icelandic Krona, which is a little strong right now, weighing in at 0.0097 US Dollar that equals 1 Icelandic Króna. Now this may not seem much, but seriously, food is EXPENSIVE. Like, the cheapest thing you can get there is a $3 hot dog, as, Iceland loves their hot dogs. I have included a post on Restaurants in Reykjavik, so feel free to check it out in regards to price of food.
Below I have included a sample Travel Itinerary.
If you cant see that, here is the 7 day itinerary up close.
Also, if you want, you can enjoy a stopover in Iceland. This is an easy way to view Iceland for a day, and then get back on your flight, nap on the plane, and arrive at your destination.
