IT: Project Management-SCOPE

A SCOPE statement is a statement that should be written at the beginning of a project. It should capture the work to be performed, what the final product of the project should be, a list of the users and people on the project, why the project should be completed, what the company hopes to achieve by doing this project, and a time frame the project should be done in.

This is a very basic overview of a project, and helps put the project at a starting point.

I have attached an example SCOPE statement for you to use.
